Inventory-keeping

• In order for Plant Management to ensure that the various processes continue without undue interruptions, a proper inventory of chemical reagents is essential.
• The Chemical Handler must keep a daily record of chemical consumption. Chemicals used must be replaced.
• Tank levels and solid reagent masses must be recorded on the stock sheet provided.
• Orders for chemicals must be processed and forwarded to the Mine Store timeously.
• Spillage and wastage of chemical reagents must be guarded against. Chemicals are expensive.
• Waybills and invoices received during chemical deliveries must be signed and sent to the Plant Accountant without delay.
