SAFETY GOGGLES
The wearing of eye protection in the gold and plan:
- As soon as you as a visitor enter the plant, you will put on your safety goggles, and you will remove it only when exiting the plant. The plant personnel make use of chemicals such as Lime, Cyanide, etc. There might be spillages from time to time and with the wind blowing, you might get dust or chemicals in your eyes if you are not wearing eye protection.
- The gold plant is known for dusty conditions.
- If it happens that you get any foreign body in your eyes, please do not rub your eyes. Keep it closed and report it to your supervisor. Get medical attention immediately.
NB: YOU ONLY HAVE TWO EYES. THERE ARE NO SPARES. PROTECT YOUR EYES AT ALL TIMES.
