PRE-USE INSPECTIONS

At the start of each shift prior to using a machine a pre-use inspection must be done in accordance with the relevant pre-use checklist
All sub standards noted are to be recorded on the checklist
If an “A” Class Hazard has been noted during the pre-use inspection or during the course of the shift, such machine must be isolated and locked-out and must remain so until the hazard has been rectified
On completion of the checklist, all relevant supervisors are to sign the checklist
