The required equipment to be available prior attempting a reconnaissance must be;
- The correct tools to open a seal and/or barricade.
- Whirling hygrometer.
- Means of measuring velocity.
- CH4,CO and 02 Gas detector (Schauenburg GDI Sentinel and/or Gastec instrument and sufficient tubes) for gas measurements.
- Viro cap (CO Monitor)
- Ventilation district plan.
- Updated survey plan of the area.
- Sufficient drinking water for each person.
- Sealed first aid bag/s.
- At least two Watches.
