Storage of HTH granular dry chlorine
- The abovementioned product which is extensively used on company premises is considered to be a harmful and dangerous product if basic precautions as reflected on the container data sheet are not adhered to.
- A few examples of the hazards associated with HTH are:
–Harmful or even fatal if swallowed
–Can cause explosions or fires through contact with products such as:-
–Household liquids
–Soap
–Paint
–Solvents and Acids
–Oil, break fluid, petrol, etc
- HTH must be stored in a dry safe place where it cannot come into contact with the type of products mentioned above and out of reach of small children.
