- Facilitate all employees to understand their SHECQ responsibilities, accountabilities and demonstrate their commitment visibly through their actions in the quest for zero incidents, injuries and illnesses.
- Treat legal requirements as a minimum standard and in the absence thereof apply best practice.
- Ensure compliance with adopted SHECQ standards and management systems by means of regular audits and performance reviews.
- Encourage employees and stakeholder involvement and ownership through training, communication and regular meetings. Assist communities with health safeguarding programs and sustainable wealth creating activities.
