Objective
This Basic Fire Fighting Module has been developed to ensure that personnel are able to understand the principles regarding the causes of Fires and to ensure that the necessary knowledge regarding the actions and processes to follow when a fire occurs are delivered to learners. Certain critical outcomes and criteria have been identified within the process and are indicated on the index of this document.
TARGET POLULATION
This Basic Fire Fighting Module is specifically designed for persons who need to BE ABLE TO extinguish a fire or follow the required processes in the case of a fire occurring at the workplace.
The Operational Unit needs to determine the required Roles that need to attend this Training Intervention through the conducting of a thorough Training Needs Analysis.
