Lesson 1 – Objectives & Rules – Generic SHEQ Induction

Objective of the Induction Program.

  • To induct employees with EGM (MPC) Mines Values and Visions
  • To acknowledge safe acts, conditions and practices
  • To familiarise all employees with Company Procedures, Processes and Safe Working Practices
  • To refresh employees’ knowledge on Workplace and Work Related Hazards and Risks according to Section 10 of the Mine Health & Safety Act
  • To enforce a commitment from each employee to a safe and healthy lifestyle both at the workplace and at home

 

Training Centre Procedures, Rules and Times:

  • All required documents must be completed and in order prior to reporting to the training centre
  • No absenteeism or late comers will be tolerated during training interventions
  • Zero tolerance towards sub standards acts and conditions WILL apply
  • Starting Time: 06H00 and Knock-off Time: 14H30
  • All trainee portfolios to be kept neat, clean and are to be completed properly
  • Trainees must adhere to the “Comfort Breaks” and “Lunch Break” schedule
  • DO NOT LITTER!! Keep YOUR Training Centre Clean at all Times!!!
